Our location is very suitable for families (with children), those seeking peace and walkers. On our own grounds you can swim, relax, play in the outdoor playground (Recreo) or in the playroom (Sala) and participate in activities that we regularly organize. There are dogs, cats and chickens present. Active trips in the vicinity can be organized such as cycling (mountain bike), mountain climbing, skiing, bird watching, horseback riding, diving, rafting, windsurfing, kayaking, taking a 4WD tour, taking a Quad-bike tour and sailing. Imagine a trip to the city of Granada, the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada, the white mountain villages of “Las Alpujarras” and the beaches and towns on the Costa Tropical / Costa del Sol.

HOW DO YOU GET TO US?

It is best to fly to Málaga and rent a car there. From Málaga airport it is about 1.5 hours drive on excellent motorways to Órgiva.

From Málaga there is only one bus a day to Órgiva. You can also travel from Málaga to Granada and take a bus to Órgiva. For information about buses, visit the website of the local bus-company ALSA.
Once you have arrived in Órgiva, we can pick you up for the final journey to ESTÁ, as you will not get any closer to us by public transport.

By car:
From Órgiva you drive via Calle prof. Lora Tamayo direction Tijola (GR-4202) until you see the sign Cerro Negro. There is a narrow side road of cement (carril) on the left up the mountain. Follow this track towards Cerro Negro for 3 km. On a boulder there is a sign saying where you have to turn left again, onto a slightly narrower path up to the sign Cortijo Los Secanos; the name of the site and home of Familia ESTÁ.

Driving this mountain path (partly unpaved) can be a pleasant adventure, if you take it easy and drive calmly while enjoying the beautiful view and the wonderful nature. We recommend not to come with a sports car because it is too low on the ground for the bumps, potholes and stones that you can encounter in a few places. Many people have already driven up here in all types of cars and campervans. If you have doubts about the accessibility of the road with regards to your means of transport, please contact us. And if you really want to go off-road during your stay? Off-road vehicles (4×4) feel completely at home on these adventurous roads!
